Janice Lindsay has recently stepped down as our Church Officer after serving faithfully for several years, and we are grateful for that loyal service. The new Church Officer is Gordon McCulloch, who began on 1st February, and we welcome him to this new role.
It has been lovely to worship alongside members of Dalrymple Church, both here at St. Leonard’s and also at Dalrymple, but our usual services return this Sunday, 3rd August at St. Leonard’s at 11:00. All welcome.
On Saturday 2nd May, it will be exactly 140 years since the opening of St Leonard’s Church! On Sunday 3rd May, we will give thanks for the 140th anniversary during our morning service. The creche is up and running again after the summer holiday. Babies, toddlers and children of primary school age are welcome to attend during the Sunday morning service.
Thank you to everyone who supported Christian Aid Week. A total of £539.23 was raised and a cheque from St. Leonard’s sent to Christian Aid.
This will take place in the church, following the service.
