It has been lovely to worship alongside members of Dalrymple Church, both here at St. Leonard’s and also at Dalrymple, but our usual services return this Sunday, 3rd August at St. Leonard’s at 11:00. All welcome.
Congratulations to Rev. Brian Hendrie on completing 10 years as minister of St. Leonard’s and Dalrymple. Congratulations also to David Murdoch on serving 25 years as Session Clerk for St. Leonard’s.
David Murdoch has recently stepped down as our Session Clerk after serving us so conscientiously for 25 years. The Session have now appointed a successor to David. The new Clerk is Paul Marshall. Paul will being his duties at our next Session meeting on 21st August. Please keep David and Paul in your prayers
Janice Lindsay has recently stepped down as our Church Officer after serving faithfully for several years, and we are grateful for that loyal service. The new Church Officer is Gordon McCulloch, who began on 1st February, and we welcome him to this new role.
On Saturday 2nd May, it will be exactly 140 years since the opening of St Leonard’s Church! On Sunday 3rd May, we will give thanks for the 140th anniversary during our morning service.
