Curling Club – end of an era
After 35 years of happy curling with lots of new friends who became almost family, it was with great sadness that the members decided it was time to “hang up the brush”. Due to various circumstances from covid to the closure of Ayr ice rink and falling numbers it was now time. Unfortunately there are no local facilities for the upcoming generation of curlers, ice skaters and hockey players many of whom in past years competed at national and international levels.
Curlers, both men and women, from St. Leonard’s CC toured the USA and Canada adding to the fun and fellowship over the years.
